"Big Boss": Ashneer Grover reveals reason why he was not included in Shark Tank season 2

Ashneer Grover, the founder of BharatPe, was the one of the most famous judges of the Season 1 of Shark Tank India. But, the Shark Tank India fans will miss him in the second season of the realty show as Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of CarDekho, will replace him.

Giving out reason for not joining the Indian adaptation of the global startup reality show, Ashneer jokingly said he has got an offer from Bigg Boss, another hit reality show. But he said he will not join it saying, "Failed people go there, not successful people."

Talking about Shark Tank, Ashneer said Shark Tank show makers could not afford him anymore. “ Afford sirf paise se nahi hota, aukaat se hota hai (Affordability is not just about money, it’s also about status),” he jokingly said.

The first season of Shark Tank was released in December 2021. The show received both positive and negative reviews and criticism. The comments by Ashneer Grover during the show became quite popular on social media. Social media users even created memes on Ashneer Grover's famous comments like 'Yeh sab doglapan hain'. Ashneer has created a huge fan base due to his comments in the show.

Interestingly, BharatPe co-founder has also penned an 'autobiography'. The title of the book is Doglapan. According to him, the autobiography is a compilation of his life and struggles. Announcing the release on Twitter, he said had said that it will be available from December onwards.

In April, Ashneer also resigned from the BharatPe Board after being involved in a legal war. He was the managing director of the BharatPe Board.
